For the Logrosán biomass power plant in Cáceres (Spain), LUXSOLAR has provided a complete Aircraft Warning Light (AWL) system, composed of MIOL-B and LIOL-B beacons.
According to ICAO Annex 14 – Vol. I, an Aircraft Warning Light (AWL) system composed of MIOL-B (L864-LXS) and LIOL-B (L810-LXS) light fixtures, is suitable for signal at night the presence of an elevated building. The Medium Intensity Lights, 2.000cd red flashing, must be installed at the highest point of the building; while the Low Intensity Lights, 32cd red steady burning, must be positioned at the intermediate level of the structure.
The AWL system is provided with a dedicated control panel complete with a photocell, automatically allowing the lighting fixtures to turn on at dusk and off at dawn.
