BALIKPAPAN REFINERY UPGRADE (RDMP RU V)

Indonesia demand of fuels and oil products is increasing faster and for this reason the government decided to improve the existing refineries all over the country. Balikpapan refinery is one of those and LUXSOLAR for this expansion project where new structures that require Aircraft Warning Lights are built, has provided complete AWL systems suitable for hazardous area composed by DUAL MIOL-AB and LIOL beacons.

The configuration has on top of structures medium intensity lights (DUAL MIOL-AB) that work in day mode emitting 20.000cd white flashing and in night mode emitting 2.000cd red flashing; at middle level -as recommended by ICAO rule- structures have low intensity beacons (LIOL-B) that are operative during night mode only emitting 32cd red steady burning light.
