MELAKA REFINERY FLARES RESET

In 2019 LUXSOLAR, for the reset of some flares in the Melaka Refinery plant owned by Petronas, has been contacted to provide complete AWL systems suitable for hazardous area composed by medium intensity red flashing beacons 2.000cd (MIOL-B TWIN) and low intensity red steady burning beacons 32cd (LIOL-B TWIN).

Medium Intensity Obstruction Light, multi-LED type, compliant to ICAO Annex 14 Type B, Type C and FAA L-864.
MIOL Ex eb mb op is should be used for structures above 45m height during night time, in hazardous areas with presence of potentially explosive gas and dust.

Low Intensity Obstruction Light, multi-LED type, compliant to ICAO Annex 14 Type A, Type B, Type E and FAA L-810.
Low intensity lights should be used for structures ≤ 45m height during night time.
